passing blood clots

I had my LAVH on 2/28 so I'm 11 days out today. I had been having very scant bleeding up til this morning. I got up and went and used the bathroom and there was a fair amount of blood on my pad and a small blood clot. I passed another one during the same trip to the washroom. And 2 more during the day. Anyone else experience this? I'll also mention that in between clots there is no more blood on my pad than I had yesterday.

I had my surgery 17 days ago and I have been really luck I only bleed a little bit a day or so. I have had no bleed since. I don't know if that is normal.
As for any clots I would contact your doctor to get checked out.

Hi. It is normal to have bleeding for up to 6 weeks. Spotting or regular period type bleeding....not bright red. The rule is no soaking of a pad within 1-2 hours. Also blood clots are fine, as long as they are no bigger than a quarter.

The day after my hyst I passed one clot and it was about the size of a quarter...it was the only one I had passed and I was still bleeding a little. But, it freaked me out nonetheless.

If you're worried, definitely call the dr. And I'd say stay off your feet for now & relax! You may have been over doing it!
