I am two weeks post op and wanted to write a note to let the hyster sisters know that the information you provided for me pre-op was invaluable. I bought a swelly belly band and the book that came with it guided me all the way. I can't thank you enough for all the good advice and support. Two things though - on your list on things to take to the hospital you list a back scratcher. I though it was odd becasue i couldn't imagine I would be scratching my back. After the surgery when you are laying in the bed unable to move and the anethethia makes you itch all over the back scratcher becomes invalubale. I could reach a itch although i could not move. Give a little more info as to why you might want to have a back scratcher with you. All the nurses and the docotrs were amazed at the idea and how well it worked.

**Second I bough an e- book from your site for $27.00 which was very disappointeing and not worth the money. it was flat and not very informative and very over priced. it was called Happy Hyster e-book. I would not recommend it.

**Admin. Note: While the Happy Hyst e-book is available online, it is NOT available nor is it recommended by Hystersisters.com

I don't know about the book b/c I haven't even heard of it until now...But a back scratcher is the best "tool" to have on hand afterwards!!! I bought just a plain back washing wand thing beforehand, but didn't think to take it to the hospital and I wish I had! Apparently ever night in the hospital, when I was so zonked out on morphine, I would whine to my fiance every 5 minutes to scratch me - not just my back, EVERYWHERE (well, not everywhere), but you know what I mean. I wish I would have had the forethought to visit the Pre-Op board before I went in. Hope you're feeling well and have a smooth recovery the rest of the way!
