Staph in urine culture- back to doc- scared!

Ugh! I'm ready to be done! I had an infection (uncultured not sure what type) in my incision 1 week post op- took antibiotics seemed to go away. A few days ago (now almost 5 wks post op) I began having symptoms of a bad bladder infection. Last Thurs doc took a urine sample and started me on Macrobid in hopes that it would begin fighting what he hoped was a simple bladder infection. Well....4 days later no relief at all (actually feel worse) and I get a call that my results from my urine came back positive for Staph but they are unsure which type bc they need to re-run the 24 hour growth culture but that I need to come in to see the doctor for a full exam tomorrow bc he is concerned.

Anyone experience anything like this? My internal incision pain has been pretty bad the last few days, I am extremly tired and have night sweats, hot spells/chills, and my swelly belly stays all day and is pretty firm feeling and warm rather than jiggly and normal temp as it had been.

I'm scared. Hope to hear some stories that suggest this could be a simple quick check up at the doc and a few days of anti-biotics and thats it..?? IS staph a normal type of bladder infection?

I'm exausted from all this
