Hi girls, I wanted to share with you all who have a laptop computer and found a nice laptable for it, it is on a popular auction site for 48 dollars including shipping, its got this cool incline part with a ledge to put the computer on and adjust it so you can see the keyboard without trying to sit weird AND takes the weight off your tummy/lap. my computer is heavy, 8 pounds, one of the 17 inch ones, cause i like a large screen and i can watch dvds on it LOL my hearing stinks and the tv ticks me off cause cant hear a movie without it half way up in volume LOL
anyways wanted to suggest getting one of these, it is similiar to the idea of a breakfast tray in bed but more elabrotate-i have dropped it like 8 times, it hasnt broken yet-i put it on the back of the sofa (my bed) with the legs still down and forget its there and keep knocking it off, the cats go scrammin and i get ticked off LOL.
so if it withstands me, must be good, i thought the first time i dropped it i broke it for sure,...anyways one of the best things i bought along with the hosptial table with wheels-thats why i had to put wood blocks under the couch (i raised the couch up 8 inches using 2 4x4 blocks with a 2x10 screwed into it for stability, like a block that is 12x12x 8 inches)....i am pretty good at engineering stuff like that- PLUS I needed it higher so it wouldnt hurt so bad pulling myself out of the couch-dear b/f put it up on blocks for me..so anyways thought maybe another idea i can give you girls to get stuff up higher so you arent hurting to get up or down, i dont have a bed frame due to allergies to dustbunnies so for now i live on my couch LOL
so the wheels would fit under the couch LOL so anyways hopefully this will help someone out looking for a way to get the darn laptop off your belly and the heat as well....thanks!
so far it is working, i am higher up, the cats get to play catch the foot from me getting in and out LOL and the b/f can feel good that i gave him something to do <GRIN>
