dVH/RALH Is anyone else feeling anxious, cranky or just not right?

I'm about 2 1/2 weeks post op and feeling very anxious the last couple of days, edgy and cranky. Is anyone else having these issues? I'm not sure if it's because of all the stress with my crazy Dr or if it's my body resetting itself, or my first PMS with no uterus.

I'm only 6 days out, but that describes how I feel. Just irritable, edgy and cranky. No idea why ... but LOTS of guesses ... hormones, pain, post-surgery experience. I find myself just keeping quiet so I don't bite at my family. Sorry you're going thru it, too. Hang in there - you are not alone!

Im exp the same thing here im not so cranky just anxious and its horrid....esp first thing in the morning.....then it kinda tails off towards the end of the day....i hate it when hubby goes out....its a nitemare....

I can say that last night I was cranky. My neighbors behind us have 3 kids under the age of 7 and the little girl was screaming, crying screaming. I was on my patio and I just flat out snapped after 10 minutes of listening to this. From the top of my lungs I shreeked "Stop screaming" As you know talking loudly can be painful in general. It hurt...and I'm embarrassed that I yelled out..they did go inside lol. The neighbors just moved in a month ago. Other than that...I've been somewhat on even ground.

I've tried to start the day with caffeine and protein, and a little fat (makes me nicer). Then I double check EVERYTHING I want to say in my head before I let it out of my mouth. Still, I put my foot in my mouth so often I have "athlete's tongue" lol!

I'm really trying to "converse" less. And when I do, I ask the other person questions that require long answers on their part. Then they think I'm chatting when it's really them talking. I can talk more when my hormones and head are back in balance in a few weeks - hopefully. Right????

We can do this. I keep asking God to put His arm around my shoulder and His hands over my mouth!
