bleeding at incision 2 days post op?

Does anyone have any bright red bleeding from incisions? It's not running down or anything but constantly there at belly button incision,and I know I have not overdone it.Unless Going to pee is over doing.Well yesterday I did have bout an hr car ride home from
hospital,then have to sit in cvs for bout 20 but that was yesterday,bleeding today?

You should call your doctor and ask.You may have stressed the incision on the ride home from the hospital. Your doctor needs to tell you how to care for it.Every doctor is different, and yours needs to know and advise.

I too had bleeding from my incision 2 days after I was discharged from the hospital. I called my dr and she had me come in. She checked it to make sure there was no infection. There was a small section opened and she reclosed it. I had a TAH, so I'm sure the incisions are different, but I think that bleeding from your incision should warrant a call to your dr. It would put your mind at rest and he'll let you know what to do. Better to be safe.

The blood started to pool in my belly button so I did call.He said as long as it was not actively bleeding or fever just to keep guaze on it and keep it clean
