vaginal discharge post A & P with mesh

Hi,

I was just wondering if anyone knows how long you should have discharge for. I'm three weeks post op A & P Repair,
tvt and perineal repair. Just got over my period but gone back to the discharge. Tannish in color.

I'm 2.5 weeks out and still having discharge. It has stayed pretty steady since my surgery, but I too was wondering how long it would last. Perhaps once the stiches have completely dissolved it will stop? I went to my urologist today and he asked me specifically if my drainage has increased at all and I said no it has stayed the same. He did not seem concerned, but I never assume doctors always say what they are thinking.

I had discharge for about 6 weeks. Even though you have had a mesh repair there are still a lot of sutures used in the repair. Those sutures can cause tannish discharge while dissolving which usually takes about 6 weeks.
