What do all the initials mean?

IBS= irritable bowel syndrome, which is something that my gynecologist told me often accompanies her endometriosis patients Since I had some of the symptoms, that were seperate from the endo symptoms, she thought I should get it checked out with a gastroenterologist. Yes, TAH stands for total abdominal hysterectomy.
TVH-total vaginal hyst
LAVH-laporoscopic assisted vaginal hyst
LSH-laporoscopic hyst made from small abdominal incisions

Hope that helps

What do all the initials mean?

I believe that "thru the belly button" is laparoscopic, LSH they make an incision in your belly button, from what I hear it isn't quite as painful as the TAH which means your lucky I think the recovery time is alot less too. Like 2-4 weeks or something like that
