I'm not comfortable with my Doctor

I'm just adding my two cents worth. Get another surgeon. Personally, I'd try another practice. I also second (third, or fourth) the suggestion to talk to your original doctor. You deserve being treated with respect and having your questions answered - and explained if that is what you need.

I needed to hear (read)all those responses...last night I started to feel like I was being unreasonable and that DR's don't have to be "nice"...now I'm really glad that the Dr showed her "true colors" prior to her cutting my belly open!!! I am on a new quest now...I will find one that I am compatible with. God is great!!! He has answered my prayers ONCE again!!

I will still be here for support.

No, you are not. The first doctor I went to years ago about my fibroids was very curt and also recommended a hyst without discussing any other options. He was touted to be the best in our area, but because of his attitude I never went back.

When I finally did get a hyst two weeks ago, if was with a doctor I felt very comfortable with.
