sudden hot flashes 4 weeks post hysterectomy

I had a tah March 1st. I had 1 of my ovaries removed. I've only experienced a little bit of up and down emotions since then. Today i woke up miserable and crabby and experiencing what I'm assuming are hot flashes...I'm about to go lay in the snow...is this normal for still having an ovary?? Please tell me this will go away.

It's hard to say what is normal because everyone is so different. I had everything removed except 1 ovary and I still get hot flashes and night sweats. Doc told me last visit that it is part if the process of internal healing. I go back on Monday and am going to see if my hormones are leveled yet.
