Robotic supercervical laproscopic hysterectomy 2.5 weeks post op

I had the robotic hysterectomy about 2.5 weeks ago. My incisions on the outside are pretty much healed and hard to see anything ever even happened. I am so surprised at how different the recovery has been with this procedure. My husband has been wonderful in helping me along the way. It seems to have brought me closer to him because of the waynhe has attended to my needs. I do however have a question.....is it possible to still have Orgasms after this surgery. We were fooling around (not intercourse, cuz i still have a few weeks before i am released for that) and i never seemed to get to the point of climax that i normally would have.

Is this normal??????

Yes, you should be able to have an orgasm after. I didn't have any problem with it and in fact after a couple of very high libido days woke up one morning having an orgasm in my sleep! My partner and I have had sex a few times since I was released and I haven't noticed any difference in the quality or easy/difficulty of having one (in fact, they've been a bit more intense than pre-surgery). Maybe it will take actual intercourse for you to test it out, though. Good luck!
