Castle Bound bright and early!
Boy, am I glad I didn't have to wait weeks before my visit to castle - I would have gone crazy.
I am all ready - just got a nice hot bubble bath and relaxed - bag is packed. Told DH that when we get to my room I want my CD walkman and little notepad on the bedside table so that when I do wake up I can blockout hospital noise with relaxing music.
Wrote letters to my kids - this really brings out the Mom in you - at least for me. Not that I'm going to miss what they taking, I just thank them for the job they did and the beautiful kids it helped me bore. I am just really, really ready for this.
What has really helped is the support and information I found on this site. I can't wait to get back and tell you all about my castle stay!!
Good luck to all my Hyster Sisters tomorrow and this week. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
Waiting to be Princess....
Cheryl

Castle Bound bright and early!
Hi Cheryl,
Just wanted to wish you good luck tomm. and you will be in my prayers. Remember to keep a positive attitude (sometimes that is hard) and your recovery will be speedier that ever. While you are at the castle get all the rest you can and drink plenty of water. When you arrive home........let people take care of you!!!

Castle Bound bright and early!
Hi Cheryl I can relate to the way you feel I've got a reservation at the Castle for 9:30 tomorrow morning I'm one of the people that has had to wait for a few months to have mine done.
I'm actually excited that it's finally going to be done. That's a great idea to bring your music with you, I never actually thought about that. I've found this site great to give you ideas you never even thought about.
Anyways you'll be in my prayers for a speedy recovery.

Castle Bound bright and early!
Just found this website today and my surgery is tomorrow also. I've known about the surgery since October, so I am so ready for this to begin.
I think I am most nervous about being in the hospital after the surgery and trying to do everything the nurses want me to do and not being able to. I know that sounds silly, but I don't want to seem like a baby.

Good Luck CherAnn. In a strange way, it is nice to know the name of someone else having surgery the same day.
