Dancing Popcorn so sorry you are apprehensive about the unknown of your surgery. This is a huge step in your life, something that you are doing to better yourself. Having a TVH w/BSO (total vaginal hysterectomy everything gone including ovaries) was the best discussion I have ever made for myself. Although I really didn't have a choice, we all have choices. I apply a HRT patch 2 times a week and I know longer have 3 heads and breathe fire or cry my eyes out. My recovery did take a little longer than expected but it was with it.
You just have to be gentle with yourself, give yourself some time and stay in touch with your Hyster site. there is a lot of great information but most importantly you will receive support and it's a bonding support that will help you through your recovery.
So take a deep breathe and slowly breathe out and know that you have many praying for you.
