Just talked to the doctor!

I think I see the light at the end of the tunnel! Just talked to the doctor, and we are setting up my surgery. He said it may be a month's wait, but should happen some time in August. It will be vaginal, with uterus and cervix removed. As he said, it will definitely stop the bleeding problem! I just ordered my Hyster Sisters Book - I hope it comes in a hurry!

I am so happy for you. That is great. I know that you had a hard time making the decision to have a hysterctomy. You are even going to have yours before me as you know the wait is killing me. I have not ordered the book as the Canadian dollar is so low.I am just being cheap which is ridiculous. I know I should buy it.

Just heard back - my surgery is August 13! That was fast, eh! Good old Canadian word. Hope I've made the right decision. If all goes according to plan, I'll never have another period. Ya-Hoo!
