Hysterectomy: December 9th, 2014

Surgery Type: LAVH

Ovaries: Kept 1 or both

should I be bleeding 7 days post hysterectomy

Today is 1 week since my laparoscopic vaginal hysterectomy. I just started bleeding along with cramping type pressure . I know I read that it can be normal but is 1 week post op normal. Its not heavy. Its bright red blood. (Sorry tmi)

If you haven't been bleeding and suddenly started a week after your surgery, I'd go get looked at if I were you, or at least call your doctor and see what he or she thinks. It sounds a bit odd.
