1&1/2 weeks pre op with questions

Hi everyone I love this site. I am having my TAH no overies either. I kinda know what to expect cause i have had 3 c sections. I hate the waiting game. it seems like forever till the big day. I want to go to a WOMEN OF FAITH confrence on the 8th and 9th i just hope i am up to it i already bought my ticket. does anyone know witch hormone helps with the sex drive?

hi Amanda .ive been told testosterone will help with the sex drive.But with the anxiety of the surgery,and then having to adjustafterwards, i wouldnt be expectingmuch regarding sex drive,just put it on hold honey.it will more than likley return in the months following.good luck with yr surgery

You will find on posts here a varied response to the 'what about sex?' question. It all depends on the individual, there recovery and I think at least in part, their outlook.

I wouldn't put too much pressure on yourself. Assume it will return as your hormones get balanced. And only think about worrying after a reasonable time. With regards to 'reasonable' I would ask your Dr.
