What are normal recovery pains? (2 months postop)

Hi all,
I'm at 2 months post op and started having sharp pains near the incision and in my abdomen earlier this week. I had a bordeline tumor and dermoid so they took everything out and did a lot of biopsies. Needless to say they were poking around in there quite a bit.

Just finished my 3rd week back to work. It's just a desk job and I'm not pushing myself too much yet.

How long do you chaulk it up to normal healing pains before calling the doc? I suppose i should just call but I don't want to jump over nothing.

Thanks for any thoughts and best wishes to everyone on your recovery!

Re: What are normal recovery pains? (2 months postop)

Hi LM...At 8 weeks I was still having a pinching, cramping feeling around the cuff and had to have a second treatment of silver nitrate.

I think that very mild pain here and there is normal at 8 weeks, but I do not think that sharp pain is. I'd call to be on the safe side.

Best of luck to you! :-)
