I'm a bit concerned as to the fact that my internal medicine doctor said to not stop taking it. I posted under a different thread earlier as I'm a little more concerned as every time I go to the bathroom or sit down on the toilet I'm bleeding profusely and clots come out like mad. My ob said to call him every morning with an update. Ugh.
Hi KellyA621, I had responded to your post in another thread and have been wondering how you were doing. Are you still taking the Xarelto? Can your gyn refer you to a hematologist?

My clot developed a few days after yours, and since I was menstruating, I started bleeding profusely with huge clots. I lasted for a few weeks with the help of blood transfusions, but I was losing it as fast as they put it in. I ended up having an emergency hysterectomy on 8/26.

Since then I haven't had any bleeding. I know I sound like a broken record, but I know what that continuous loss of blood can do to your body.

Wishing you well.
