help: no bowel movement

milk of mag has been my best friend i am 10 days post op and have went everyday and will stay on it for 6 weeks untill i know my stitches r gone try that and heat ur prune juice in the micro and get it warm it will help

Im 7days since operation not really feeling hungry at all. Not enjoying food and hot food just pick at..I have stopped my meds cause im sure that was it. But still not hungry.

I had my Davinci on the 18th, I started docusate 100mg (2 caps) twice daily, lots of water, drank warm prune juice, walking...nothing seemed to work, on day 4 post op my mom brought me Plum Smart a drink by evening, I finally had a bm...relief! I still drink it three times a day, its getting much better ^-^!

BM good but still hurts so much and im day 5 since my first BM. Im still passing bright blood after day 8 since surgery. So painfull just hoping everything ok down their. Not happy feel worse than what I did when I came home from hospital.

I do generic Colace and Milk of Magnesia every evening. It does the trick. I took a crossword puzzle to do when I felt my first BM was going to happen. it helped me stay calm and not feel anxious or rush things.

Thanks im going ok its just that it hurts even though I have been heaps and its a soft BM.Im going back on my meds think I might have gone off them to early. Just me being brave.lol

I so need to know how much blood is to much day 8 of surgery and with pain and feeling off.
