I feel so fat! Bloat?

I feel so fat! I went to do some shopping for my stay at the castle...what a mistake! I have gained weight from the meds I took for a uterine infection and I felt like a cow. I felt ugly and really unfeminine. I wanted to buy a robe and some other lotions and stuff- you know- girly stuff and I ended up hating everything, including me. I have read on some of the postings that some of you ladies out there have suffered some bloating because of uterine problems. Is it true? Will it go away after surgery? Is there anything I can do about it (I already exercise and eat right!)UUUUGGGHHH!

I understand how you feel. I was going to wear one of my pretty nice robes to the castle, well not any more. I put one of them on and whoa.......the sides barely even met!! I have put on so much weight that I am sick of looking at myself in the mirror. So I am going to go crazy. Although I lost 4 lbs, but you can't tell it. I just hope with this surgery that I will lose more weight and that I can start a reasonable diet and continue loosing weight.

I'm sorry but I can't really tell you anything about the uterine problems. I know some women do gain weight with it, but not real sure if it will go away after surgery or not. Sorry I couldn't be of much help, I am sure someone will come alot with the info that you need.

i'm sorry that you are having such a bad day, i haven't had my surgery yet but i can relate to you right now. i do really hope that after the big H i feel better and are able to lose some weight cuz i got about 3 boxes full of clothes i'm just bitting at the bit to get into again. s to you. debbie

Buy something pretty and big, you need something comfy while recovering as you will be tender and may well have swelly belly for a while.

Buy something that makes you feel pretty, even if it is in a larger size than you intend to end up it will make you feel good until you get thin!
