TVH 13 days post hysterectomy: Infection - Not feeling well

I am 13 days post op for a vaginal hysterectomy (ovaries intact). I've had issues with constipation but that was finally resolved midweek of last week. Just have not felt well and had severe back pain 3 nights in a row...to the point I couldn't sleep the first night. Also symptoms of a yeast infection. Called the doc on Thursday & saw her on Friday. She thinks I have an infection and gave me antibiotics. She said I have "cuff cellulitis" - surgical site was inflamed & weepy (though not unusual at this stage of the game.) She wanted to give me one that covered bladder infection too (just in case) but I am not supposed to take Cipro due to previous tendon rupture. (Cipro & Levaquin have a black box warning for tendon rupture.) I am allergic to 5 antibiotics. So she gave me an older antibiotic which will probably take a couple of days to work. She recommended I not return to work Monday (which I had already figured out but glad to hear it!)

Have just not felt well Saturday. Ran a low grade temp this evening.

Ready to feel better. :-(
