Lupron and Pain Associated with Degenerating Fibroid

Hi Everyone,

I am scheduled to recieve my first dose of Lupron on 9-17. I was wondering if anyone experienced any pain associated with their fibroid/s degenerating after the shot takes effect.

I had no pain, or really symptoms of any kind, but my fibroids did not shrink at all while on lupron

I had two large fibroids. One was 8.5 cm and the other was 6.5. My Dr. suggested I do 3 months of lupron shots to shrink my fibroids enough for a less invasive hyst.

My 6.5 went down to 1 cm. My 8.5 went down to 8.1. So go figure, right.

As far as pain...no I did not experience that. I had temporary hot flashes & night sweats...but my heavy periods stopped and the abdominal pressure from my fibroids subsided. That helped a lot.
