Tomorrow is the day!! 3/9

Ok hyster sisters let me tell you that 6:45 am tomorrow can't come quick enough for me. I have been suffering with fibroids, horrible periods for probably a year and a half. Chronic anemia is wearing me down. The last straw for me was I started my period on December 14th and literally have not stopped bleeding since. In February I met with my doctor and scheduled my hysterectomy. About a week ago my bleeding actually stopped for about 6 days and I was so thankful until this past Saturday. It came back with a vengeance. For the past 4 days I have had the most excruciating cramps and heavy bleeding that I have ever had. The worst part about it is the cramping is constant day & night. Needless to say any doubt I have had about having this surgery is 100% out of my mind. It's almost like my uterus is saying I'm going to make these last few days in your body sheer utter hell so that you will really appreciate it when I'm gone! I can't wait to say good riddance to you uterus & pads, tampons, cramps, and all that comes with you! I'm miserable and look forward to feeling much better soon.

You are in the exact same boat that I was in one month ago! Debilitating periods for the last two years. Ended up severely anemic. My fibroid was bigger than an avocado and my uterus was 10 times the size it should have been. I was scared to death, but also anxious to be free of it all.

I won't lie. The first two weeks out aren't fun. Then you feel like you should be able to do more, but you can't. I'm still having a hard time 4 1/2 weeks later, but I have more good days than bad now.
