Green Light-5 weeks

This thread was a very good read. I wonder how young people think "too young" is. I am 38 and my uterus has caused me nothing but heartache and trouble. Im glad to get rid of the dang thing. Too bad they dont give it back to you so you can stomp on it! LOL

I guess my libido was effected anyway, because I am thinking "woohoo six weeks and I dont have to make up excuses". Sounds terrible I know, but with the uterus I was so paranoid about all the funky things that it did. It kept me 'not in the mood'.

For some reason i don't mind anyone knowing what I had done. I've always been open (too open according to my mother).
I just say i hemorrhaged and had my uterus taken out. If they want more info, I give it. I find if you just come right out and sa it, they are flustered and if I beat around the bush they'll make it into a bigger deal (not that its not) than it was and speculate about all kinds of things. I'd just as soon nip the speculation in the bud...
Just sign me glad to to have had this operation and grateful that my recovery has been mostly uneventful.
