Things for the Goody Bag
For those who have suggested a goody bag like those given out to new maternity patients, I am proposing we put together our own goody bag for the hysterectomy patient to be given at the doctor's office (see post: Bittersweet Realization of Finality).
A few things I think should be included:
Two for one rebate on unused tampons and pads
Buy one/get one coupon for white jeans
Five good chick flick DVD's (open to suggestion on titles)
Large box of tissues
Three good books (open to suggestion on titles)
Free magazine subscription
Box of chocolates
Yoga mat and instructional DVD
Vitamins and minerals to support women's health
and of course What 100,000 Women Know about Hysterectomy
