Thank you Hyster Sisters

I have been so nervous about my surgery. I have had 2 C-sections and numerous other surgerys but for some reason this is bothering me the most. I am scheduled on 1/21/03 and to top it off I am having an old root canal redone tomorrow due to infection. Anyhow, I wanted to tell you all that all the other posts and information have really helped me. Now if I could just sleep.

Hi, I hope this comes as words of encouragement to you, it's okay to be scared and worried. I don't think alot of people realize that this is a life changing surgery. I had mine about a year ago, and I can remember very well the feelings of apprehension I had just before my surgery. For me it meant letting go of the dream of giving birth, ( I never had children ), and it was tough, but I have gotten thru it and so will you. You really have found a great place to express your thoughts and your worries, right here . Best of luck with your surgery, I will be thinking of you as you enter the castle Tuesday. Keep in touch.

Hi Elizabeth, it's so normal to be nervous for this surgery ,it is a major surgery afterall. I'm so sorry that you have to have a root canal also, I've had a couple and they're really not fun. Hang in there, soon this will all be behind you and you'll be a princess.

I feel your pain and am scared too... I also had a c-section and am more scared of this dont know why? I will say a prayer for you too, (strange how close to God I have become lately! but he works in mysterious ways I guess) I think I am more scared now because I am older, when I had my c-section I was in my late 20's and felt I was invincible ya know, now I'm older and hopefully wiser and much more informed. Sometimes ignorance is bliss I guess..........
