Good for You!!

Peanut,
That is great that you finally got that out of the way.

Remember next week, that we are all still here thinking and praying for you.

It's only going to get better. Just remember that.

Well.....I did half of pre-op! Help?

Hi Peanut. I just wanted to let you know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. I had some difficulties after my surgery but I honestly believe that the hardest part was before the surgery. Now it has been 3 months. I am feeling a lot better. It is amazing how it feels not to be so tired all of the time.

Well.....I did half of pre-op! Help?

peanut I'm glad you went back and the pre-op is over. I know how hard it can be! I've been through it many times now.

I'm hoping that everyone is right for both you and me that the waiting is the hardest part.

I've been pretty hard on my DH too! I'm so emotional that I just get irrational while crying. He's trying but not used to dealing with emotional women. So I got rid of my daughter for the night turned on out wedding music, poured some wine, lit the candles and spent some quiet time together. It worked wonders to calm both of us. You might want to try something like that.

I'll be sending you my best wishes!

prayers

Hi Peanut! Triple Ditto on the Prayers!!! I was really afraid about not waking up when I had my surgery. I selected several really special people in my church who are true "prayer warriors" to start praying for me weeks before the surgery. Everytime I started to get that scared feeling, I reminded myself that there was a wall of prayer surrounding me. The morning of surgery, everything went so great it was amazing. As I layed back on the operating table, all I could think about was those people praying and how I was looking so forward to waking up and getting on with a happier, healthier start in life. So...PRAYERS AND HUGS to you for your new lease on life!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!

Well.....I did half of pre-op! Help?

Great job, now keep your self busy until mon. to take your mind off it. Not that I would suggest something this drastic but last week 2 days before my surgery my 15yr old son walks in the door and says mom I have a problem, I turn and look at him with his face covered in blood. Needless to say we spent 5 hrs in the emergency room waiting for a plastic surgeon to come and stitch up his eyelid! It looked like someone took a scissor and cut straight through. He was hit in the eye with a swing as he jumped off right before his friend did. Well I was so worried about him I forgot about my worries. My DH came home early today to take him to have his stitches out, and eye looks great thank god. Keep well, Cathy TAH/BSO
