Bowel Pinched During Hysterectomy?

Has anyone, like me, had your bowel accidentally clamped/pinched during your hysterectomy? Mine was, and the doctor felt bad. He took 2 stitches, and his accompanying doctors agreed with him in this approach. I'm 8 days out from surgery, and so far, so good. Seem to have regular bowel movements, no pain nor blood. I didn't take any narcotics, because they constipate me, and I didn't want that complicating my recovery. Just wondered whether anyone has had anything similar happen?

Mine was my bladder I have a few stitches as well its 2 weeks today and I still have cather in but supose to come out Tuesday. Shoukd be fine. I was told they were stuck together.
