Anyone else take Femhrt as their hrt?

My HRT's are called ...... FEMHRT.

Anyone out there ever take these?

I am on the patch (Climara). Have you tried looking it up on WebMD?

I took FemHRT before my surgery, but my Dr. switched me to estrogen only (Premarin) after.

Was just prescribed this one today. Had been on vivelle but am switching to femhrt per doctor visit today. It is odd because the precautions clearly state if you do not have a uterus do NOT take this drug but that is they one she wants me to take.

I too was on Femhrt plus a birth control pill prior to my surgery. I took both pills each day and skipped the period pills. Therefore, I didn't have a period for 3 mos prior to my surgery. This gave my iron a chance to build back up before surgery.

Since surgery, I am on Vivelle patch .05 with no problems.

I just got it and haven't started it! I have been coping with the surgical menopause for 9 months- no sleep aids- no pills only a chillow! I cam down with a horrible acute sinusinus so i am waiting until i feel better. Anyway i believe i have the combo because my endo was so servere and dr. wants to offset the estrogen. I never took to the pill very well so we will see. Dr. said the pill is 7 times stronger than hrt. I think with endo your dam if you do and dam if you dont. It is just what symptoms can you deal with everyday...
