internal stitches after TVH

i am yet to see any stitches "come out" is this unusual?
its been 8+ weeks

I just called my doctor yesterday asking about that and she said it could easily take up to 8 weeks.

I also think you might not notice it coming out if it all disolved but call your doctor if you are concerned.

Sometimes the sutures dissolve into the tissues and don't come out - that's what they are designed to do - mine never came outside of my body....normal according to my doc.

i am 4 weeks out yesterday, and got up this morning to go pee pee and lo and behold there was a knot from a stitch on the paper. thats the only one i,ve seen so far.

I never saw any stitches after my TVH. I guess either didn't see/notice any or they just dissolved.

My dr said that discharge turns yellowish when the stitches start to dissolve.

yes, i forgot they did say the discharge would be yellow when that was happening. and i've done that a lot. as i had a ton of stitches in there

Mine has been yellow too and (sorry)TMI a little odor too, very mild though.

OK whats making me ask is the other night DH and i were having sex & he yelled "OW" and i asked what was wrong and his answer was "i dont know what or if you still have stitches up there, but something just poked me in my "peepee"
Is this possible? or was it a fluke? should i call my Doc??

If you know that your hubby wasn't joking, I would definitely talk to the dr about this.
