Just wanted to say Hi!

Hello All,

I've browsed alot, but this is my first post.

My TAH is scheduled for Feb 3, 2003. I'm good with the decision, finally...like many of you, it freaked me out at first - I'm 38 and felt too young for all of this.

Thanks to all of you for sharing your experiences...it is because of each of you that this is not so scary for me anymore.

Much love,

Chocy

Just wanted to say Hi!

Chocy,

Welcome to Hystersisters! So glad you joined us. You will find that there are many women here who are your age & younger. I was amazed!

I found a great deal of relief when I found this site, too. My hyst came up fairly abruptly & I was extremely unprepared! The ladies here were kind enough to share experiences & knowledge which made it possible for me to make an informed decision that was best for me.

Again ... welcome & post and read as much as you like. There are no questions too silly, embarrassing, or trivial here! We pretty much cover it all.

s to you!

Just wanted to say Hi!

Hi!

So glad you have posted!

I had my TAH/BSO almost 8 months ago and at that time i had just turned 38.

I had alot of pelvic problems that led me to finally getting myself taken care of and if I had only known I would have felt this great, I certainly would have done it sooner.

I dont know what I would have been like had I not found the sisters here. They are all wonderful and supportive.

I am glad we have been able to calm your fears. We are here for you anytime.

If you need anything, feel free to ask. Together, we can get through this.

Just wanted to say Hi!

This is a wonderful site and the sisters are great. So glad that you found this place before you have the surgery cause it is the greatest place to find out information about your upcoming surgery. And make sure that you listen to the instructions that the other sisters give to you for after surgery. Pamper yourself and take time to heal. And get aquainted with the sisters in the chat room, that is a great place to go and find out information.

TAH/BSO 8/20/02 for fibroids & endo
On Vivelle dot for hrt and having some problems, I think more hormones but I will find out 1/6/03.
