2 days post opp.LAVH. Bath???

I was told no baths until I was cleared at 6 weeks (& that got extended to 8 weeks). My doctor explained to me that it is very easy to get an infection while you have a vaginal cuff healing. I am not sure why the doctors opinions vary so much but if I were you I would err on the side of caution & wait a little while. Best wishes to you!

That is strange. I have spotted even one drop since my surgery. I love my baths as well. My doc said to wait 2 weeks. The 2 weeks was torture. I kept staring at the tub really needing to sit in it. I did sit on the side and shave my legs that helped a little. Maybe my time was different because of the type of surgery I had. Other than that the only thing I can do is have sex.
