ok...gross....maybe a lil TMI

so, I go to the bathroom and a rotten odor of funk hits me...doesn't smell like bacterial vaginosis....what is that smell?

There is a great bit on this here in the site. It is likely the sutures dissolving and it is likely to continue for several weeks according to the report. I have the same thing. No worries. As one sister said "given what we've been thru nothing is gross"

I think you should go to the doctor. You are too far into your recovery to have stitches dissolving.

It still could be an infection.

I had a funk for about 1.5 weeks after surgery. I attributed it to the anesthia working its way out of my system. It's gone now, thank God.

If you had your surgery in July, it isn't stitches....I would definitely go to the doctor! Good luck!
