Bleeding 2 weeks post supra cervical hyst with BSO - angry and sad

I wanted to keep my cervix so that bladder and sexual issues would not be complicated.
Dr. Also took my ovaries........
However, started having bleeding similar to a period. Dr. Had me go in for manual check and ultrasound. She is puzzled - says it could be from remaining endometrium or broken vessel. She could not be sure if this will continue indefinitely.
It's is soooo depressing, like a slap in the face. Don't have the parts anymore but get a period!?
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have read that if you keep your cervix, you may continue to have "mini-periods" since the cervix still has endometrial tissue...but I wouldn't think that possible if your ovaries were taken....unless you still had just enough estrogen for one more "period."In that case, you may never have to endure it again once you get past this one.

Butterfly makes a good point. Without ovaries you wouldn't cycle and have periods. So this "should" be something else, and not a recurring event. As to what it is----maybe final endometrial shedding? Just a guess. I'd think if it persists your Dr might need to investigate further. I hope it ends soon and never returns.
