So....Tell me about week 3 after hysterectomy.

This past Friday was three weeks post-LAVH, and I feel great. I have not felt like my recovery was going backwards at all. I moved last week, and I have been unpacking, cleaning, organizing, hanging pictures, etc. No setbacks.

Ha! I had the "Super-Woman" complex trying to move my bed. *hand hits forehead* What on earth was I thinking?

I am 4 weeks tomorrow no meds since day 4 post op, today is my 1st day back to work full time 3 hrs in and I am exhausted. take your time to heal but walk walk walk and drink water. I feel good but Hot flashes just plain suck. I get swelly belly when I do too much I am not taking HRT, just black cohosh and vitamin E oil.
Constipation is no fun so take the stool softener
eat veggies and fruits and get some flaxseed sprinkle on everything.

take your time - limit lifting you still have stitches. (HUGS)

As much as I would love to say go for it, please don't. I also had. TAH and I barely have the energy needed to pay attention the the cat! Take it ver easy and go slow. I know it's hard but your body needs it.
