Paranoid!

Am I the only one that got the clearing to take a Bath and STILL have not gotten brave enough to? I have some slight spotting STILL , going for my last Nitrate treatment on November 1st , but I just can't get brave enough to sit in the bathtub....WHEN is all of this paranoia going to GO AWAY , Heck , Hubby and I have had sex 6 times since clearance and I have only had one big "O' because I have been scared crapless about the blood vessel! AND I still will not let him go in all the way , I am scared something will break in there...All of the horror stories have finally done me in I think..

Re: Paranoid!

Yeah , My doc told me that there are blood vessels in there that were attached to my cervix that he cauterized , but because it is SO close to the Urethra nerve ( there is a technical name for it but I can't remember what it is) he didn't want to get to close to it to cause permanent damage so he didnt go all the way over to that side of it , Beings everyones surgeons do things differently and because all of us heal at different rates , I had not healed all the way , had an O at 4 weeks which popped the blood clot that had formed out of place and caused me to bleed very VERY Badly!

Re: Paranoid!

I was so excited to be cleared at the tub at six weeks, was looking forward to that than anything else. if your doc says it is ok for you to have baths after silver nitrate then i would try it - it will feel good and help relax you and take some of your tension away. lock the door, light a few candles and drift away!

Re: Paranoid!

p.s. stay away from the all the horror stories for a while too and concentrate on the positive ones, where things slowly get better each time for women. you already know what can happen if you go too fast or too deep too soon. but if you take it slow it can only keep getting better vs having setbacks from going too far. you know your parts work, it isn't necessary to have an O just from intercourse each time. I rarely get the O from sex alone but that is not a problem for me and consider the sex to still be great, I just get the O's a different way! You have a great husband and I have faith this will all work out for you.

Re: Paranoid!

Ok I am LOL because I live in Costa Rica and bath tubs are rare. I am moving to a place with a swimming pool so will have to be cleared for that. Also doing house hunting and have found one and so stoked because in one of the 3 bathrooms it has a wirlpool bathtub. It has been almost 10 years since I have had a bathtub in my house. As for sex I haven't been cleared but did pull a fast one on my husband and had sex without being cleared no pain no blood. Asked husband if he wanted sex last night and he said no, not till the doctor clears me. I have only had 2 tiny pink spots of blood since my surgery 5 weeks ago.
