7 weeks and doctor says I look like 2 weeks post op

I really feel like it is one step forward two steps back. Had TVH on Aug 13th and been a very bumpy road.
Day 11 infection sent home with antibiotic
Day 12 in ER hemroging
Day 15 new pain meds and estrogen cream
Have had no normal BM's
Bladder not cooperating
Two yeast infections
Bad reaction to estrogen cream (didnt know it was a reaction thought it was normal used itfor two weeks)
Another infection two more antibiotics
Doctor says he is not happy with my healing down there does not look like I am 7 weeks post op looks like I am 2 weeks
Monday in office had to be catheterized to empty bladder after cat scan
Saw me again today another script......
Been in pain ever since appointment.
Sent a message to my boss Friday that I would need more time off followed up with a phone call (didnt answer left a voice mail) no response.

Sorry if I rambled just dont know what to do......very sad and just feel like my spirit is completely broken!

Re: 7 weeks and doctor says I look like 2 weeks post op

I feel so bad for you! My surgery date is the same as yours. I had a pesky yeast infection at 2 weeks post op but am so used to them it was only a little bump in the road. I've been grumbling about having increased pelvic/rectal pressure for the past 2 weeks and some light spotting that started right after my internal exam at 5 1/2 weeks. But if it weren't for the rectal pressure and my increasing struggle with being able to have normal BM's (I can identify with you on that one...I'll leave out the gory details), I have done fairly well so far. Going back to work full time (a desk job with lots of sitting) has probably been tougher for me than anything else. Thats when my pressure and increased BM issues really started. So if nothing else, I'd advise you to make sure you are really healed well before you try and jump back into work full time.

Get plenty of rest, don't push yourself, and hopefully this will all be a distant memory soon.

Oh no. I'm sorry you've had such a rough recovery. Your boss will have to adjust. When is your next dr appt?

I really hope you begin to heal quicker! I would feel the same as you..heck probably worse..I have issues when my body doesn't cooperate with my mind.

Mine was a few days after yours. It's been a bumpy road, but not in comparison to yours. So sorry you're going through this.
