Vacation 4 1/2 weeks post op

Hey ladies!
I have been given the okay to go on vacation and I realized something fantastic!! This will be the first vacation in YEARS that I won't have to take 1/2 a suitcase full of "supplies" and if I wanted to I can only take one bathing suit as there won't be one being cleaned!!! No more mad dashes away from the pool or beach - this thought really made me giggle and none of my friends understand - I know you all do!!!
Oh and by the way I buttoned my pants today at 3 1/5 weeks post op - another happy milestone!
All these thoughts just help me know that I did the right thing at the right time. Thought I would share...

Cheers to you Redham. Isn't it glorious, being able to pack just an overnight bag for a weekend get away.

A year ago I never thought I would be able to travel again, even an outing to the mall was a stressful event. Now I am thinking about going to London or Paris next year with my daughter and Step-Mom.

I still keep a pad in my purse in case my daugher or a friend needs one. And getting into jeans again is an added bonus, I don't look pregnant anymore.

Pace yourself on your trip, enjoy.
