my pre-op appt......
Hi Melly,
I'm glad that your bowel prep is not going to be too hard to do. I was lucky, too, and only had to do a Fleet's enema.
I'd like to remind everyone not to take any meds (even over the counter ones, like Milk of Magnesia, Tums or Rolaids), without checking with your own doctor first, please.
Your idea about asking the doctor for a belly band ahead of time is good - did you know that Hyster Sisters also carries a really neat one in the HS store?
I wish you the very best for your surgery and recovery.

key words in my first post:
"HELPFUL TO HAVE"
"these are just helpful suggestions"
I WAS SIMPLY suggesting..IDEAS I HAD LEARNED FROM EXPERIENCE AND READING ON THIS SITE..
and yes,i seen the belly band from hyster store..my insurance will cover one from my dr,because hes prescribing it..i do not have a extra 35 dollars..
also,i know i had a ton of questions, and was so unsure of what id need after..after surgery in march,i learned some things, and just wanted to share these ideas..thanks!
