very upset about pathology report

I received my pathology report today, im really upset that i had so many things wrong and suffered so long. I was never diagnosed with fibroids before the surgery but i have had several ultrasounds though the years and you would think that these would of been picked up on. The path report says that i had so many fibroids (leiomyomas) it says that the entire posterior part of my uterus was completely covered with them and that they were cystic and bleeding profusely, which accounts for why i was so anemic and never stopped having a period for months. I also had severe dysplasia and severe neoplasia CIN III. On the pap test it showed up as CIN II, I guess that test does not always tell the full extent of it. The path report also said that I had endometrosis and adenomyosis. Apparently my uterus with its multiple fibroids was actually growing into my bladder and had i waited much longer I may of lost my bladder. No wonder I hurt so bad when I need to pee. I also had a growth on my fallopian tube. multiple polyps in the endometrial cavity. both ovaries were severely deformed and cystic. Multiple adhesions on the outside of the uterus.......it just goes on and on about all the things they found........ its 6 pages long of all the things found wrong. My mind is a whirl of OMG Im being refered to see a oncologist to see if I need any further treatment, I pray I dont have to have any chemo.
Doctor says that I may need to have a further surgery to recheck everything just to make sure. I really dread that.
Whats weird is that I feel like im so much better than before surgery, im still very tired but overall I feel better than I have in a long time because im not in constant pain.
Oh yeah, this site was so right again.... I have been having very bad dizzy/lightheaded spells quite often, i insisted on having my hormone levels done and it turns out i was right, my levels were very low so im on new hormones now. Im told that i may have to stop taking hormones due to the results of the path report but till I have to im taking em, I am not sure I can take the menopause symptoms.
I wonder what caused me to have all of these problems? At least now i feel justified in deciding to have the surgery and for all the time ive missed from work. If my boss gives me a hard time im gonna shove a copy of my path report in her face and say, "you work with all that wrong with you and see how you feel"
Sorry again for such a long post, I just needed to talk this out.

very upset about pathology report

Julia, I also had a whole bunch of things on my pathology report that I didn't know about before. Like cysts on my ovaries and cervicitis and adenomyosis. It's like my female parts were totally corrupted.

It kind of makes you wonder, are any of our other systems corrupted? Lungs, kidneys, joints, immune system, digestive system, etc? Is it just our female organs that go bad, or do we have a whole bunch of other undiagnosed problems in our bodies?

Maybe I don't really want to know!

Being angry isn't going to help. Try to think positive thoughts, count your blessings, and appreciate every day that you live without pain. Our time here is short, no matter who we are, and we need to make the best of things while we can. So live a healthy lifestyle, express your love to your loved ones, forgive those dumb incompetent medical people, and then forgive everybody else too. Including me, for being so syrupy this morning.

Blessings and good luck to you.
