sickness in the house pre hysterectomy....(teenagers mentioned)

Well, I think I had posted on some thread last week about my son getting sick and keeping my fingers crossed. Both of them are now sick and the first one to get sick made it to school yesterday and is now throwing up this morning! They are not young children and picking up every bug, they are 16 and 18! I think that is why I am panicking even more....

I know that if I get it I will have to consult my Dr to see about surgery but I was wondering if anyone else went through this, if they did reschedule and if it was only at the beginning of being sick vs recovering.

I am stressed enough about surgery.....one more thing....yeesh

I hope you have avoided the dreaded stomach bug.

To answer your question, yes they can cancel your surgery if your are sick. Sometimes it is a call on the day of surgery - it just depends. Talk to your doctor if you get sick. There are times they can give you something for it.

Fighting a scratchy throat, vitamin c, honey, zinc, Im keeping my fingers crossed. It has been over a week that it has been in the house, hoping that this is all I'm getting!! They are still honking and blowing. Here I thought Spring was a great time, past cold and flu season, whoops.

My Dr said that they wait till as close to surgery as possible to decide~don't think my nerves could handle another count down.
