4 days post hysterectomy: lightheadedness

Well so far I have been doing alright. I do have quite a bit of pain. 3 am this morning I woke up to pee went to the bathroom and got really lightheaded that I had to hurry up back to bed before I fell. I am fine now I have been taking acetaminophen with codeine for pain and it makes me drowsy but never light headed. I know I haven't been eating very much just don't have an appetite. Anyone else get this?

Yes, I had spells of lightheadedness the first couple of weeks, I figured it was residual effects of anesthesia and not eating much. I wasn't taking any pain meds. Tried to eat more protein, it went away before long

I also experienced periods of light-headedness and I feel that it's part of the healing process along with not eating properly and possibly a side effect to medications. Wishing you a speedy recovery
