Home -:liw: Princess in 10 hrs flat

Hello all- surgery 8:30 yesterday morning and was home by 5pm. I am now a PRINCESS!!!!! Amazing what the surgeon found and said with all of the things that were wrong in there- singley shouldn't have been such a problem but together was the reason for all my pelvic pain. What he did find included- some endo, fibroids that never showed on Ultrasound, adhesions on bladder, adhesions on bowel and he said my apendix looked great. So I will go now to rest like a beautiful good princess. Its over and I couldn't be more suprised at the strength I have. I was hot to get home and all medical staff told me I was amazing and better be careful. They called me the poster child for a hysterectomy. I am taking percosette and toradol for pain. The outpatient thing worked amazing for me. Thanks I'll be back later. Love, Julie

WOW!!!! You sound like you did really well! YEAH!!!! Now remember, you just had major surgery so the Princess Rules apply to you..... plenty of fluids.... take lots of little s and get LOTS and LOTS and LOTS of The PILLOW POLICE are on duty 24/7! LOL

Wow, a day surgery hyst??? i say good for you. please take it easy though and call the doctor with any symptoms you may be having.

i don't want to scare you, but i did have internal bleeding that wasnt found out until the next day. i ended up having to hematomas and a blood transfusion because of it. that is why i say call the doctor with anything that is bothering you.

i'm sure you'll be just fine though. remember to rest and be a good rincess:
