This is the first time I have ever been on the internet. Leave it to a major surgery to get me looking for help!!!

I'm 33 and have been doing battle with my body sine jan this year.

Finally the doctors are doing something about it and I am a reck! go figure, I though I would be releived.

So much to do before Christmas and so little time!!!
what is a girl to do??

Cynthia33, welcome to the site. You'll love it. The sisters are wonderful and always there for us.

I know what you mean about X-Mas and all: I'm heading to the castle on December 14th and have been getting ready since September and there is still sooooo much to do and soooo little to do it in. I guess it doesn't help that I've switched to a very demanding job, that I'm getting my son ready for his first confession (or whatever they call it now ) on the 17th and that my daughter turns 5 on the 18th, a birthday we're celebrating on the 10th (so mom can be there).

You ask what is a girl to do? My answer: her best and delegate the rest. People will understand that, this year, we won't be doing as much as we usually do. But, at least, next year we'll feeling wonderful.

Welcome to the site You have done the first good thing by finding this site. I just think this site is so wonderful I wouldn't have made it without all of these sisters to answer my questions. One thing they have pointed out there is no question that is stupid so ask away! I am almost 3 months post op from a TAH/BSO and I am here to help anyone who has a question. If I have the answer I will be more than welcome to try and help you. I wish you a speedy recovery and keep us posted on how you are doing but don't over do it ok,the big key to recovering well is REST REST REST! Your body will tell you when you are over doing it!
