Worried and scared ~ Can someone tell me if this is ok

Maybe I jinxed myself of something by going on and on about how fine I feel

I had my LAVH last Tuesday and was tired of living in sweats and jammies and decided to see how my jeans fit this morning.

They were a little snug due to Swelly Belly but I still kept them on ( didn't make me feel so much like a patient).

Sorry for the TMI that follows, but I have been having some bleeding since 7 this evening, once i took the jeans off. I had absolutely no bleeding cept on the day of surgery, my obgyn said i would have bleeding, I didn't and was fine with it.

Should i be worried about this bleeding, new development, it is nothing major , it's just that the sudden bleeding and pain are scaring me.

It hurts right around my belly button, more like cramping pain rather than pain , am I making sense.

Im sorry your going through this. I had the TAH and had no bleeding even after surgery except internal bleeding and blood clot so I dont know the answer but I would suggest calling your surgeon.

I had an LAVH with no bleeding except for a tiny bit of spotting 1 or 2 days after surgery. My DR told me to expect some bleeding around week 2 due to a capillary "bridge" that forms between the two sides of the vaginal cuff (I never did, though). I think that the best thing to do is to call your doctor and let him or her decide if it's something to worry about or not. That way you can rest assured and put all your energy into recovering.

By the way, I hate wearing pajamas in the middle of the day no matter how sick I am. I chose to wear loose-fitting dresses and skirts instead. That way I could go for my frequent walks outside in the sunshine and fresh air without worrying about changing clothes and I wasn't bothered by swelly belly when it occurred. I don't know if you your jeans caused your spotting, but it's important to be comfortable and let your waist expand as it needs to. Best wishes and hugs!

Ohhh, maybe that's what my obgyn meant when she said "You will have some bleeding", even when I told her I didn't...guess i just am freaking out for no reason.

Looks like the bleeding is not vaginal but when I pee, the pain..ugh..feels like I have a very bad UTI , waiting to call my obgyn's office when they open in a few.
