Off to the Castle

Well, we're off! I am supposed to be at the castle in about 1 1/2 hours from now. I thought I was emotionally prepared for this until last night... only got a few minutes of sleep here and there...

And of course, Murphy's law (anything that can go wrong, will) applies here. My youngest daughter came down with a terrible cold on Thursday, and my DH caught it yesterday. I've been frantically washing down doorknobs and light switches with lysol wipes and washing my hands every three minutes to try to avoid catching it myself!

On top of that, we finally got the first snow of the season... six inches so far and still coming down... really threw a wrench into our plans for my oldest to drive herself to college this week! (She is not too good at snow driving yet.) We needed the snow desperately, both for the moisture and because Utah is hosting the Winter Olympics this year, but why couldn't it have waited another couple of weeks? (Whine, whine...)

Anyway, things are finally happening and I'm glad(?) to be getting this over with. Thank you so much for the information and support that this site has offered!

Best Wishes!

Here's sending you best wishes for an uneventful surgery, and a happy and healthy recovery. I'm due in this Wednesday, but am waiting for a call from the DR due to swollen, ***** tonsils this morning. Good luck!!
