ques re: sleeping and sweating!

I had my surgery back in June. I'm still having problems with deodorants. Lots of sweat and smell. I am on the Climara 0.05 patch. I do on occasion wake up warmer and do have a very few warm flashes. Nothing like I have when I'm not using the patch though. Overall my body temperature is warmer than it was pre-op. That's alright with me though because I was always cold before.

ques re: sleeping and sweating!

Hello Mary!!
I too had night sweats, but I have my ovaries. They finally left about a week ago...I think it must have something to do with the healing process....

As for deodorant, find something antibacterial...They work so well for my hubby, they kill the bacteria, which maybe coming out to detox you. I know that Walmart has a Organic Arm and hammer or something like that antibacterial deodorant or antiperspirant...

ques re: sleeping and sweating!

There were several posts a few weeks ago about this, and the consensus was that Degree is the BEST for odor. I was going to get some, but now that seems to have settled down.

I'm stinky and sweaty too. It seems to be worse if I take vicodin at night (which I do most of the time.) Seems to make me sweat. I have my ovaries and they seem to be working fine.

ques re: sleeping and sweating!

Hello, I haven't had my surgery, but was having real problems with under arm odor and read some where to use vinegar on my armpits because it doesn't allow the bacteria to grow no bacteria no odor. It works...We'll see after my surgery, but I thought maybe it might be helpful to someone out there.

ques re: sleeping and sweating!

Ughhh! The sweating is driving me nuts!
I've never been one to sweat, hardly ever, and it seems like I constantly wake up soaking wet now.

And I kept my ovaries.

Just this morning, my pillow was soaked. My BF opened the window and parted the curtains to let a breeze in, then started fanning me.
If I have pneumonia tomorrow, we'll know why! LOL.

As for odor, I've continued to use Secret deodorant and haven't had any problems.
