Re: Your Favorite Book (Novel) - Participate for a chance to win

Jane Eyre is my all-time favorite but might be a little too intense if you're coming off pain meds. How about something light like Funny in Farsi or Dewey the Small Town Library Cat Who Touched the World, or Skipping Christmas?

Anne Rice's The Vampire Chronicles series. In particular The Vampire Lestat. Like living in the past while reading.

I really enjoy all the classics, but recently The Secret Life of Bees and Gone Girl were excellent reads!

Like Water for Chocolate. Anything vampirism related. Anne Rice. Yes, even the twilight books. I like lighthearted easy reads and classics as well.

Re: Your Favorite Book (Novel) - Participate for a chance to win

I don't read novels (my faves are more like 900 pages of Old English grammar and exercises) but my mom loved The Time Traveler's Wife.
