Re: How mobile are you the day after surgery?

I was an overnight stay and had nausea in the morning. But the morning dose of Percocet was the last I took, I switched to Aleve. I never had mobility problems although on that day I moved slower. Nausea was my issuue. The car ride made that worse. It seems our experiences are all over the place but I could have attended an appt without pain or mobility limitations. I was still tired with anesthesia wearing off so no social events, but if I had someone driving me to a brief Drs appt, I could have done it. Just be prepared with extra time in case it turns out you don't feel as good. As you can see, some feel pretty good, others not so great, and it's hard to predict which you'll be. But hey, good idea to combine surgeries. Best wishes for an easy recovery.

Teacher, I read your post about 1st day after surgery. Hope you are having a good recovery. I will have the DvH tomorrow and nervous. I will have a urinary catheter. Did you also have the catheter and and did you have to wear it home? I have to see the doc 2 days later to have it removed.
