Why do I feel this way?

I have been feeling good until today, not sure if it is my ovaries trying to ovulate or my female issues. I am having a TAH Sept 29th . Today, I feel like a wet rag. I feel tired, fatigued, depressed, my breasts are killing me, so very tender. I am seeing the gyno tomorrow for pre-op exam , thank goodness. I am wondering if anyone here goes thru this? I swear my breasts are so sore, they feel like they did when I was nursing. UGH...

Why do I feel this way?

Hi,

Sorry you are feeling this way. I had hormonal fluctuations before my surgery. I was in perimenopause and the dr said that the the hormones are very irregular durings this time. It makes sense with so many ladies having issues in this time frame.

Since my surgery I don't have this anymore. My body was putting out too much hormones causing fibroids, pms, cramps and bleeding. It can sometimes make breasts sore as well.

Hopefully you will be over your discomfort soon .

Best wishes on your upcoming surgery.

Why do I feel this way?

I have a feeling it's your mind allowing it to actually accept what's going on inside. I never knew I had a huge cyst until my initial examine. Once I knew I had an "alian" taking up residence,I felt it! I have a week to go until surgery and believe me,I willbe happy to get rid of this extra baggage!

I am not sure if your doctor has mentioned this to you, but I find my breast to me more tender when I have caffeine or chocolate. Since I have stopped drinking caffeine drinks and not as much chocolate, my breast say thank you.
